Back in 2009, we cold-called Bonnaroo with nothing but an idea. They took a chance, and we built what became the first festival app in the App Store. That single bet turned into a long run working alongside some incredible customers and teammates, helping shape how fans experience live events.
In 2021, CUE Audio acquired Aloompa. In 2024, I joined WMT Digital through their acquisition and built out their product organization. My focus was assembling the team, setting product strategy, and laying down a roadmap that's now being executed.
Over the last couple of years, I've spent a lot of time thinking about what product and company building look like in an AI-first world. How teams work, how decisions get made, and how we unlock the highest and best use of our time.
Founders, executives, and product teams have been "vibe coding" for years. Articulating ideas clearly enough to collaborate with teams, refining them together until they're sharp enough for specialists to execute. For 15 years, this was some of my most fulfilling work.
Now the layers are starting to collapse. Judgment is emerging as the moat. The skill set didn't change, it just matters more. If you can think and write clearly, you can do things you never would have imagined a decade ago.
In many ways, it feels a lot like 2009 again.
AI has me back in the deep end, building and working with teams navigating the same shift. If that resonates, I'd love to connect.
